Who am I ?

I’m Karunakar Gautam. I build software products and think deeply about how great products are built, how to refine our decision making and grow as makers and people.

This publication is where I share everything I learn along the way. Sometimes it’s practical: building MVPs, finding product-market fit, writing better code or copy. Other times it’s more reflective: how to think clearly, make better decisions, or navigate uncertainty as a founder or indie builder.

You’ll find:

  • Behind-the-scenes insights from real product experiments

  • Lessons in clarity—mental models, strategy, and decision-making

  • Thoughtful takes on business, tech, and the creative process

  • Occasional posts on the mundane—but with a surprising or useful twist

If you're building something of your own—or want to—you’ll probably find something here that sharpens your thinking or saves you time.
